hey i did everything and magos says some dbc file is wrong, it has 4 fields instead of 13

The File is ItemExtendedCost.dbc

and btw i had an error while using extract.bat saying it could not find an MPQ File(patch-enUS-2.mpq

hey i think i got that error to the unable to find the MPQ file!

i fixed the previous error by downloading new version of mangos

but now im unable to connect, wich IP should i put in the realmlist.wtf file?

Edit: i tried using this ip in realmlist.wtf: [Lan IP]:3306 and it gets stuck at Authenticating, wich is the farest i got

both I got the 2003 error on the same computer and the other one on remote

i have done everything possible to open the damn port of 3306 and i still get error 2003! i want to hang myself! i have enabled the port with my computer name through win firewall, i have opend a port through my router and it still wont friggen work!

p.s. i do have dial up

I fixed all my problems. I just forgot to run realmd.exe before mangosd.exe =P

now i get error 0 cannot start service mysql...why? i have the service installed it just terminate unexpectedly when i start it omg

go to the realmd table with SQLyog and right-click it and Select View(at the bottom if the dropdown menu) then fill the thing and click the little disk to save then enjoy.

In mangos you can create an account easily by typing in the following into mangos.exe console.

create name password

BTW My character got stuck in GM Island and now when i login it's stuck at REtrieving Character List... what sould i do? i already tried modifying the character's xyz positions in SQLyog but same error...

in the consol(if you havent already) make yourself a gm by typing in

setgm name 3

then log into your server and type in

.tele stormwind

it doesn't have to be stormwind though.

Anyways i deleted the account and made another one it's not important... Now i have troubles making my server online... i can login but others cant.. i have a dyndns everything is ok but it doesnt work ... tried hamachi... nothing... my router is *********************************#@?%$?$%@

they can login but they are stuck at realm list.. it returns them to realmlist everytime they choose a realm

Followed the tutorial to a T to the best of my knowledge but all im getting at server start in the Mangos.exe window is this:

Example:

Orgrimmar - Undercity moved to -4579.456898 702.456987 0.000000 1

Over and over again.

Any ideas?

I'm very curious, sorry if this is a noobish question.

I've installed Mangos and it works perfectly with my MySQL server and i can connect and everything, but my question is f.ex. when i try to go through the Dark Portal i get the error (like i don't have expansion installed) "You have to have the expansion Burning Crusade installed".

What is it that has gone wrong since i have the burning crusade ?

All my materials for making the server are from the links in this guide.



===== Problem Fixed =====

I realized i hadn't changed the TBC colum in the realmd database for my account, so if you have the same problem you will have to change the '0' to '1' to enable that specific account to access the TBC content
