some1 said to me " please do not remove the '/set' command, because
when game time is 12:00am it hurts eyes and gives need to use
'/set time xx:xx' "

so i found an alternative ,,
remove the coordinates and screen info
but leave in the frames per second and graphics controller info
and tag it with your server name
so instead of coordinates they see ...

XXX.XX fps (size x size) XXXXXXXXXXXX
graphics controller info
server name

when they type /set frame

search for SERVER in engine and make it like this.....

yee if you do that^ also
you can tell the players to use
/set frame
b4 they take a screenshot , when they want to report some1
and then the screen can be proved to be from your server
so it stops some blaggers as well as some sky hackers

Hi all, i changed pw on engine, e.pk and config.pk too, but when i wanna start game, there is config error (NULL).

Does some1 know how to fix it? :/ or where is problem?

i have a problem

undefined files ect.... pls reinstall...

so.
1. clean unpacked engine <-- have inst kocp
2. change pw with kal server contr. del engine.exe and rename engine.exe.exe to engine.exe
3. have with hex ed change 3hU1WB+BkrBbqIbMjPN1/w== to EJyFS2vFgJ0cgP8tuG+DSQ==
4. have with yp engine.exe packed
5. and new hshield in my kal folder copied

start game and message --> undefined (files) is installed. please reinstall the programm.

was hab ich falsch gemacht

ok guys i got new problem and it dont make any sense...I used md5 checksum tool to check the numbers are the same in the config properties file and client folder. they are all the same but when i log in i get expelled in the mainserver it says "engine.exe md5 checksum"

KOCP; Vista; Set Frame; Change PW and PAcked with yP

look... this a my problem

what options do you select on the left side options all but the clear pe header is checked, advanced options top 2 are selected, other create backup is selected, compression option is at 9

Hey, the guide is realy good thanks,
100% succeded.
I'm using vladi repack atm, to test it.
But when i launch the game i get config error. allready changed the pw of config and e.pk with config editor, but still the same error.

Does anyone know what i did wrong, or what i forget to do?

hi,

i have a next problem xD

when i start my Kal with this engine.exe (with KOSP and Changed PW) [UNPACKED]

i get this Error:

out of range
hf: 30 khz - 70khz
vf: 50hz - 150 hz



PLS tell me how i can fix this ^^

your monitor cant handle the refresh rate

config error can only happen when you

- use wrong Advanced PK editor version
- have a different password in your config.pk than in engine.exe
- miss some files like ClientVer.dat in data/Config

Used config editor, unpack and pack, also putted a pw on the config and e.pk with it.
config and e.pk are the same pw as the engine.
ClientVer.dat is in it,

It must be the Config editor then?
How can i put a pw on the config and e.pk if i'm not using config editor?

you still have to use the advanced pk editor to encrypt the pk files as Exclusive Crypt so KOCP can read it...
