[How To] decrypt a crypted game.exe

First off all you need this 2 Programms:

You must be registered to see links

for look how is crypted

You must be registered to see links

for decrypt the file


Step 1:

Open PEiD

Search for the crypted game.exe

So now we know how it is decrypted

ASProtect 1.23 RC4 - 1.3.08.24 -> Alexey Solodovnikov

Exit the PEiD



Step 2:

Open Stripper

Search for the game.exe

Unpack now

Save

Exit




Now we have the decrypted game.exe named _game.exe !

Need to clone a function of game.exe
Ollydbg (knowledge assembly) -> create the same features in a new unpacker.
Or need to know the original method of encryption key .... I think we already know where the place

But now I have a question:

How do you re-encrypt them once you're done? From my understanding, you can't use a decrypted game.exe with encrypted .sdata files and vice versa...

In the exe there has been 2 files stored, because of the encrypt there are 3 files in 1 exe, if u decrypt it they will all come out.

I was wondering if you could do this, and then tell me excatly how you did it step by step?

hey guys this program does unpack the game.exe i need to decrypt ive got the shaiya ep6 game.exe but its a koren file and apparently it needs to b decrypted and this program stripper aint doin it i followed the steps and it wouldnt unpack so i can save it
