do i need to use kpt client to enter my server?

Yes, as my guide says it "you need the kPT to connect into your server + FroggPT. (Or dPT version 1871)-("The old version" - dPT are now using version 1874)"

ok im downloading it now and i already have the older Dpt version so i put the dpt and kpt in same folder and then open my 4096.exe and go in the client u uploaded?
also when i make an account with the makeaccuser.exe how do i know the password to that account?

1. before you input your dPT files in your kPT folder, press at PsTale_Update(1871).exe
2. You need to have an account you have make manuelly in SQL. I will edit my guide a bit so ppls will understand.

Been working through all the post on getting the client/server working together, however somethings are not clear. First let me explain that I stared the server install on a older post and had not noticed/grasped all the different clients & versions.

The Hotuk GamerServer ran fine, no apparent errors.

I installed the English(3111) client first with "Server_1198946227.rar", and could not read the screen.

Uninstalled, and tried the rPT client(1871) & patched version 1920. No success. Crashed.

I had then found a newer post and tried the Kpt(1871) client. I did like it said and updated(1882), but in the newer doc it says

When the kPTdownloading are completed install it. Before you input FroggPTin the same folder, make sure that you have press at "PsTale_Update(1871)" after you've been doing that could you input the FroggPT, install it. Use this client to connect into your server (Its our game client, you are able to edit it on hex workshop if you want to):

To me this reads to over write the kPT with the FroggPT, and use experiencePT.exe instead of the ptlauncher.exe?

When I try to login...I get "failed to connect to FroggPT".

I've went over the registry, the ptreg, the ldata.bmp, and the hotuk.ini a dozen times.

Any other suggestions?
