Memory Leaks

I'm using Solaxia V1, do you guys have any suggestions of how to keep my RAM usage to minimum?
OS: Ubuntu 16.04

Used this command to get the memory dump : jmap -dump:format=b,file=cheap.bin <pid>
Now I have a 500mb file with lots of jibrish, what?
