v83 Localhost hex editting problem.

Hi everyone,

I keep on trying to hex edit my v83 localhost to update to my windows server, whenever i do it seems to break the localhost, removes the icon and it doesnt open.

Could anyone point out why this could possibly be happening?

You want change the IP you're saying? You need to use STREDIT iirc for v83

Yooo. Stredit fixed the problem. Why the duck does it break with out hex editors?

I found stredit before you replied, but thank you sir for helping.

Because by hex editing you break the encryption or whatever Maple uses, while Stredit decrypt it and then re-encrypt it, making the changes still functional. Probably bit different than that.
