To host the server in public you will have to get asp.net site, upload whole web there and change the settings in launcher and database.

please try your best to fix those bugs and missing files. Xiah is really a good game too even it's old hehe. i still like this kinds of style of game just like hero online. pets system most kinda same as hero online and i like it this way. even tho i have a few chance to play on official Xiah, i still like private server of my own Xiah can make higher rates that i like.
