• Unfortunately, we have experienced significant hard drive damage that requires urgent maintenance and rebuilding. The forum will be a state of read only until we install our new drives and rebuild all the configurations needed. Please follow our Facebook page for updates, we will be back up shortly! As a moderator, I see quite a number of help requests. Some of these are issues which seem quite weird and complex to begin with, but can be solved with a few, well thought out steps.

(Warning: this is a generic guide)
When running any sort of game server, you want to make sure you can access any logfiles generated. Logs are a great way of indicating what's gone wrong. Usually, a logfile will contain the line of code throwing the error, so you can hunt it down and amend it.

Another way of diagnosing errors is to check if you've opened up your ports. This is quite a lengthy topic - please check this link.

Please do remember to attach any relevant logfiles to your posts. This will help us in tracking down and solving the error.

Happy emulating!
