You would usually do a zoom-out over top view of the map and take a screenshot, in which you color in the areas in which you want blocked and convert them to the proper png format for BlockInfo and then just convert.

If you mean the HTD file, I made a tutorial for it which can be found in the tutorials section. It explains most of what you need to know. I leave the rest for you to discover and find out.

If you mean the SHBD file then I had to figure it all out again because the current tool doesn't function correctly. After I figured it out, I created a (very poorly written) program to convert the SHBD files to an editable version and then back to an SHBD.

This is the level of accuracy I get with it:

Note that the minimap isn't pixel perfect and that's why it may seem a little off.

Thank you, I spent a lot of time on it, to get this far, I hope I can produce a worth while end result so that I can make a video to show it all off. :)

I was actually thinking of creating a whole new editor for maps, which would include things like being able to edit the HTD and add nifs and edit them as well as layering the bmps and everything, but I think it will take too long so I don't plan on doing it, even though it would have made this process of editing the map for me much easier and quicker, because I wouldn't have had to login repeatedly every time I moved a nif file in the shmd or changed a nif.

It was quite useful figuring how maps work because now I can use that knowledge for my emulator since I'm making this for it, so no one will have access to this map for a while, since I will be releasing this with the emulator.
