Hamachi Issues

When I replace the 127.0.0.1 with Hamachi IPv4 in test_Manager_ServerInfo and test_ServerInfo my services do not want to start anymore.

To be clear, with 127.0.0.1 everything works perfectly fine, when i just replace IPv4's with Hamachi one, the AccountLog, GameLog etc dont work anymore.

This seems to be the issue:

But my ODBC are set up in the right place so honestly Im clueless now.
Anyone knows how to fix this or what I am doing wrongly?

For one, are you using HK, or Odin files because the method for setting them up is very different. If the servives works perfectly fine with 127.0.0.1 and crashes with the Ipv4 address then this means that you have poorly edited the text files. For odin you only need to edit the text files. However for HK you'll need to hexedit the client.exe and the loginserver service. The loginserver uses the md5# version of the ip address so you'll need to convert it before you replace it. There are guides available on how to do this.

For odin I'd recommend retracing the steps you took to setup the server and at the point where you change the addresses in text files to 127.0.0.1 change it to your Ipv4 address instead. Remember you need the ip in the shn for the odin rest server to be 127.0.0.1 even if you're using hamachi.

You also need to make sure your ports are open. Applications like firefox and skype might use the ports that your server is set to use.

I am using Odin and I replaced IP in hosts (the 127.0.0.1 stubedore.t) in the windows/sys32/drivers/etc and i replaced the ips in both the server files in serverinfo. (test_ServerInfo and test_Manager_ServerInfo). Did I miss out on anything?

I'm fairly certain you do not change the anything except those two text files. I made a post about a problem I had with Hamachi and these were the things I checked.

1. Firewall is off
   
2. Hamachi is on
   
3. Both computers are connected to the Hamachi server
   
4. Server runs fine on desktop
   
5. IP in .bat file is changed
   
6. IP in "test_ServerInfo" and "test_Manager_ServerInfo" was changed from 127.0.0.1 to my Hamachi's ipv4 address.
7. Each account in the database has an ip address that must be changed to to the Ipv4 address.
