Here is some maths for you.

Most companies take upto 50% when you withdraw money to your paypal account, plus paypal take an extra 2-3% off you.

say you buy the Delta subscription which is $18 he would have to charge you 54% more so he would be able to get his 18$ so the overall price would be around (check post below)
