@MentaL
So I was wondering if you would put a empty line between each of the rules on the global rules list?
It would make the rules far easier on the eyes. The rule list is in a fairly small font so spacing them out some would do a world of good to prevent the rules from looking like a wall of text. I know it would make the post longer but I think the benefit to readability would outweigh the downsides of the change.

This would be a good idea. Simple thing to make the rules easier to read. Hopefully will promote people to follow the rules... ¬.¬

I tried to add the spacing. So the rules are in a list, which makes them numbered and have that nice indention. Apparently (from what I read) vbulletin removes breaks in a list.

I tried to force a space with <br> and <br /> and [br] and [br][/br] - and none of those worked. Dang the only thing I learned here was to test on a thread that was not the rules because I thought I could just go add them and it would be a simple deal, and it was a no go.

Geez I remember when we had view source on the posts and I could edit the raw bbcode, days like today I miss that! :p:

We'd have to manually order them. so maybe I'll play with that later and see if I can get the indenting to work.

Use the WYSIWYG editor. You can change these settings here: http://forum.ragezone.com/profile.php?do=editoptions -> Miscellaneous Options -> Message Editor Interface: -> Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing

@Kreeate yeah do that. :thumbup:

@Kreeate Madison wants to do that and also keep them indented they way they are now. Personally, I don't care as long as there is some spacing.

I tried but I found it wasn't possible because the lists automatically remove spaces (with some google searches). I was going to do it like that, but it was getting late for me yesterday.

@Madison does bb allow inline css? because then I can just edit the <li> margins or padding.
I guessed it wouldn't because it wouldn't let me do html tags.
besides, Kreeate has a nice version. Its not like we update the rules every day, it won't be terrible to maintain. I just didn't know bbcode was so restrictive in that sense.

Ofcourse you're not allowed to do HTML. People would just create a thread and add this to it:

Code:
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0; URL=http://site.com">

and boom! Haxxored!

There could be some options to change on BBCode tho. Instead of [ use of <, and h1, h2, h3,... tags... And/or font aswell.
Don't exactly need to be direct to html, but atleast a proxy to BBCode.
