    Global Rules needs spacing

    @MentaL
    So I was wondering if you would put a empty line between each of the rules on the global rules list?
    It would make the rules far easier on the eyes. The rule list is in a fairly small font so spacing them out some would do a world of good to prevent the rules from looking like a wall of text. I know it would make the post longer but I think the benefit to readability would outweigh the downsides of the change.

    This would be a good idea. Simple thing to make the rules easier to read. Hopefully will promote people to follow the rules... ¬.¬

    Vouch here, and should be faster links to the rule thread, those who is new at the forum might spend a few minutes trying to find it.

    Re: Global Rules needs spacing

    I tried to add the spacing. So the rules are in a list, which makes them numbered and have that nice indention. Apparently (from what I read) vbulletin removes breaks in a list.

    I tried to force a space with <br> and <br /> and [br] and [br][/br] - and none of those worked. Dang the only thing I learned here was to test on a thread that was not the rules because I thought I could just go add them and it would be a simple deal, and it was a no go.

    Geez I remember when we had view source on the posts and I could edit the raw bbcode, days like today I miss that!

    We'd have to manually order them. so maybe I'll play with that later and see if I can get the indenting to work.

    Could be nice to put it on the Wordpress page? Probably nicer formatting there, keep the thread but have a link to it? @Madison @MentaL

    01. Always show respect towards each other. Flames and personal attacks are not welcome at RaGEZONE. This includes but not limited to; racism, xenophobia, etc.
    02. Do not post entire sentences with UPPERCASE or large fonts. You may think it will help you get your point across, but most of the time you will be ignored instead.
    03. Do not create posts with just smilies.
    04. Try to stay on topic. If you wish to talk about something different, make a new thread for it.
    06. Do not bump an existing thread 2 weeks after the previous post. Instead create a new post, and if necessary link to the old one.
    07. Do not post two or more times in a row. If you have something to add to your last post then simply edit it. This may be waived if the contents of your post are too much to be allowed in a single post.
    08. Do not recreate the same thread, once is enough. It does happen in lag at times, if so use the report post button.
    09. Do not spam. Excessive spamming will be punished.
    10. Do not circumvent our censor.
    11. Do not use tags improperly.

    16. Advertising outside sources is not permitted. If you wish to advertise your server, post in the correct section. If you wish to talk about a site, speak to a moderator first.
    17. Do not ask questions which are already answered in other threads. Use the search function as much as possible.
    18. Do not beg. If you are too lazy to help yourself then others will be too lazy to help you.
    19. This forum is English; you must either post in English or create an accurate translation. If a staff member suspects the translation is inaccurate your entire post may be deleted.
    20. Do not post programs or materials that give unfair advantages. These include bots, trainers, and hacks.

    28. We do not permit the sale of server files on RaGEZONE, with the exception of Mu Online as its embedded within its community and progress.
    29. Most importantly, use common sense! If you think something may not be allowed, it probably is not. As such you may be punished for something that is not specifically mentioned in these rules.

    @Kreeate Madison wants to do that and also keep them indented they way they are now. Personally, I don't care as long as there is some spacing.

    I tried but I found it wasn't possible because the lists automatically remove spaces (with some google searches). I was going to do it like that, but it was getting late for me yesterday.

    @Madison does bb allow inline css? because then I can just edit the <li> margins or padding.

    I guessed it wouldn't because it wouldn't let me do html tags.
    besides, Kreeate has a nice version. Its not like we update the rules every day, it won't be terrible to maintain. I just didn't know bbcode was so restrictive in that sense.

    Ofcourse you're not allowed to do HTML. People would just create a thread and add this to it:

    Code:
    <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0; URL=http://site.com">
    and boom! Haxxored!
