Private message to self?

I noticed something when I was browsing through some threads. When I was viewing some comments , I came by my comment. So I decided to click on my profile to view my profile , so when the options came , I saw the option 'private message' . Out of curiosity I clicked it and got redirected to a page where I was to write a private message with the recipient being myself.

Rather silly isn't it? So I thought why not to give a suggestion to do something about this , like maybe remove the option to private message own self.

It may not be a very good suggestion but , still is a suggestion to give

you do realise you can email yourself or send yourself a text right?

Its a good idea, I sometimes use it to remind myself of tasks.
