Hey guys tt1: What do you guys think about a shoutbox? I think there should be one so users can have conversations and know whats threads were just posted? So what do you think?

You can find your answer in anyone of these threads. With this amount of users it would be total spam and it just wouldn't work well.

If you subscribe to a thread then you can see who has posted in them and if you want to know about what new things have been posted then go to What's New?

I think you should, since you want a shoutbox on a forum with over 1000 users online at any given time. It would be hell trying to have a conversation especially if thread replies were being posted too.
