Talisman Online CMS

Version: ALPHA v0.4


Introduction

This CMS was created to help people get a quick website up and running for their server. The template is purely CSS for quick load times.

Editing character's inventory is still experimental. I have left it out of this release.

Please leave all feedback in this thread. The more feedback I get, the better I can make the CMS.

NOTE:
This is not designed to be used on a live server. Use this CMS in a hidden directory on your server, or even better, locally.


Installation

Upload to your webserver and edit config.php.

Disable display_errors in php.ini.

ALPHA RELEASE

Version 0.4 -- July 30, 2011
- Implemented User Control Panel.
- Added characters to user cp.
- Added T-Point adder to user cp.
- Modified admin permission granting.
- Optimized content.php.

- Created functions for mysql connects.
- Added mysql close functions to keep connections from staying open.
- Added CSS elements for appealing visual effects on text.
- Fixed bug where footer was not displayed if registration was closed.
- Added Vote page.

- Created system to automatically add new links.
- Moved custom links to side bar.
- Moved admin link to side bar.
- Added server status and stats to side bar.

- Layout created.
- Basic website functions set.

- Started registration scripts, need to set value checks.
- Formatted config.php.

I will be making a svn so you all can get development updates. I won't upload another version until 1.0 so it might be a good idea to follow the svn.

I believe I have two people working on templates so you'll have 3 designs to choose from soon.

So far just from looking at the source of the config I can follow your logic. However it looks like you are not simplifying some of the things. Granted I like simple stuff, but I need to do testing and all. Good job none the less.
