When I get to the ./db_server it comes up with ./db_server: error while loading shared libraries: libmysqlclient.so.15: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory

anyone had this and solved it?

already tried reinstalling mysql and the libs

k, nice i dont speak polish, but i managed to get it fully setup by watching the guides and what you are doing. but one thing i wanna find out, is how do i let people join that are outside my home network. i wanna let friends play too.

you have ubuntu 10.4 ?? in that case you missed out the installation of php5 and u have 5.1

what u need to do is download the library

libmysqlclient.so.15 to your library folder

/usr/lib

for 32bits systems

and u should be good to go

or try installin fresh ubuntu 9.10 and dont upgrade untill AFTER you installed all mysql php files on your linux machine!

given up n gone for full server rebuild lol, was using my own build of 10.04, so far using 9.10 getting there lol.

I can't open the navicat, I press run but nothing happen.

edit: nvm, its working now

edit2: hmm.. when I try to get in the game it said "connection failed, please try again later." what I need to change to fix this?

Download this : Download Navicat Lite 9.0.12 for Linux - An All-In-One Database Tool for Managing MySQL, SQLite, Oracle and PostgreSQL - Softpedia

Then Extract it to your ubuntu disk .

Open your terminal and type : sudo apt-get install wine1.2

It will install wine windows program loader , Then right click on your start_navicat and select open with another application .

select Wine Windows program loader and done ... still facing problem so update your ubuntu version

can you be more specific please? show us the whole log file.

and if u changed anything on the .evp file maybe that´s it.

i´ve had this error before (segmentation fault)

and it was because i´ve been messin arround with the files inside the .evp

remember always to keep a backup file!
