Script Hiring a web developer for a simple script.

What I'm after is a web developer that can combine two pretty common things and turn it into one thing.

Basically I wanted:

1. Simple user system: don't need public profiles or anything, just register, login, change PW/Email.
2. Vote system: There are say say 20 options with 10 results, you pick between a and b and at the end of the time frame, I put the results in and press calculate and it shows the results.
3. Last thing is a ladder of the score, so each week it gets calculate to a page name ladder, and it'll have a list of the top 25 users and their score next to it.

Basic picture of what I wanted.



So yeah, not sure on a price. Name what you think is fair for the amount of work involved and once I guess once I take a look if it actually works then I'll cough up the $$$

what do you really want? To hire a web developer and make the script? Or you just want to buy the script? Im just confused 'cuz you put it here, not in the "team recruitment" section.

Oh just the script, but if I could stay in contact with the developer to add more features as time goes (at a cost) on that'll be a bonus but for now I just wanted a script.

MySQL. Also I don't have Skype. I think one of the rules was to keep it on the forum for transparency?

I could do it if you still need someone (I'm free pretty much all day tomorrow, and I could do most of it tonight if you wanted). The register/login/user controls are something I could do, but I'm still a bit confused about the voting thing. If you could elaborate a bit more on that it would help ;)

This should be able to explain it a bit more.

You choose option A) or option B) then after the event I choose which person won - either a or b) and then it calculates how many you got right in the event for example if there's 10 fighters and you get 5, it says 5 out of 10 and then those 5 points get added to the event tally so overall, if there was 5 events and you got 5 options right at each event you get 25 points overall on the ladder.

Ooh, that makes sense now. I would be willing to do it for free if you'd like, and I could have a decent amount of it done tonight. Let me know if you want me to do it or not (I already made a bit of it out of boredom lol)

Forgot to add maybe two admin pages? One for adding the next event in, and then one for putting who won the last event once it's over.

Haha yeah, I was thinking about an admin panel to add/edit/remove events, and to manage winners and stuff like that
