I am selling another Xenforo account of mine.
I take payments through paypal only.
As the license cannot be transfered so will I give the buyer full access to the account etc.

I just checked the license and it expires 18th December 2017. PM would be the easiest I think, since ragezone don't want people to talk outside of the forum.

Sure, you will still be able to use the forum license without any issues. The only thing that happens when it expires is that you cannot download new updates, only up to the recent update it expires on.
Any updates that come out after it expires requires you to renew the license which is only about $40 a year.
You can also not take advantage of their support system, but you can still use their community forum to ask questions if you run into any issues.
It's not essential to update either unless you need and want to be the newest one at all time.
The only time it's crucial to upgrade is if a security update comes out, which doesn't often happen at all.
If I understand, correctly the last security update was released "30 August 2016".
