I was wondering if there was a way I could use a PC for a JD server (as well as a few other games) and use a router to connect to the PC? if so how would I go about doing that?

I'm new to the private server thing, I saw some posts about how I'd have to have a certain OS or it'd destroy the machine, so I'm not sure what one to download, but I'll be sure to check out the release section

If you have one computer, then use the Ethernet cable directly without a router. Make port forwarding through VMnet8 NAT.
