There is a guide on here somewhere about changing that, but from memory it only has something to do with gsalias.conf.
Did you check to see if there was actually a name assigned at all for the realm you were opening?

gsalias.conf is fine every realm has its name they just wont show on most newer linux distro's.
we're running centos 6.2 atm and they simply dont show
Thats cause of the lib's.i think checking lib's more precisely could get ur realm names showed,but not sure.

If you can use Pinyin input style, i'd do a system search on where it's pulling whatever realm name you have from.

If they changed the library structure, try reinstalling the libstdc++5 distribution. Although obsolete, Jade Dynasty seems to like them, and on top of that it will probably restore any missing LIB5 files you are missing. (i.e. Glinkd or GACD uses Libstdc++.so.5)
