[Release] Jade Dynasty Legacy - Ubuntu Server Complete - 11 Classes MySQL/MsSQL

Alright, so I've taken the time to convert these files to Ubuntu, and
completely stabilize them for full use.

There's only 1 thing I want to clear before I continue.
Do not use iWebs for these server files. You will only corrupt your Game
Database.

^ Stick the above one in the folder within htdocs. Sorry I missed a few things guys, I was in a rush.
Stick these into opt/lampp/htdocs. You will definitely need these to test later. XD

Now, onto the setup! ^-^

Unzip the VM image in a folder somewhere and boot it up.
By default, I've set it to be able to use a maximum of 40GB of space, 1GB of
ram and 1 processor... change this if needed.


Start Ubuntu.
The username is root, and the password is "ragezone".
By default, Ubuntu does not have an IP, so you will have to assign it one.

You may use the command dhclient to assign one, and then reserve it
for the virtual machine through your router, or look up a guide on how to do
this on Google.
Alright, now for the MySQL fans, your start command is ./mau and for
the MsSQL fans, your start command is ./msau, so decide which one you
want.

The default phpMyAdmin and MySQL passwords are ragezone so if you
wish to change these, you may do it through the phpMyAdmin interface

(http://ipaddress/phpmyadmin).
Make sure you also change these in the configuration files located
root/myauthd or msauthd/build/table.xml or your server WILL NOT
FUNCTION.

Congratulations! You have successfully started your server up!
I have not included a Register Script by default, or a Vote Script, so I
will include one at the bottom of this release.
A quick note before we finish... if you are editing scripts and
configuration files, the Database name is NOT "sm". It is "mysqld". Remember
this when changing values of this type in your config files.

Now on to the Pro Tips & Tricks!
1. Running this server on 4GB of RAM or more is ideal. Running on less will
reduce performance, and cause instability. Beware.

2. Any tools that were used for the old servers have a very high chance of
resulting in corruption on these files. Do not even use the Item Mailer in
iWebs. This causes crashes, "Server Network Error"'s, and corrupt databases.

3. Links can be found all over the Jade Dynasty section for tools that are
compatible with this server version. If you cannot find them, it might be
worth checking out http://mcncc.com/.


This release has been fully tested and completed to the best of my
knowledge. If there are however any problems I may have missed and have come
up, feel free to reply to this and I'll see what I can do.

And to Sh1mmy, I fixed fort, however Territory Wars seems to be more of an NPC problem... nothing else. It's set up, and the battle timers function correctly to the best of my knowledge.
BG's work for the realms that are set to run.
This server release is set to run Realm 1 and 15. One is PvP and one is PvE by default...

If you don't mind, could you point me the right direction how to setup the Fort Siege? Everytime I tried to enter, even if I signup for it, it will just dced me back to the logon screen. The Mini Fort worked. BG work when there's a System Announcement(Battleground realm-name is about to begin, please get ready.) Shura Gauntlet; Dread Lab; Moontop Hollow; Crimson Peak Instances work exept Chu han and tw not work.

useless to upload full server file, because it same core, can you give me gs.conf?

i have trying add on gs.conf bf01 :

is_battlefield = 1

and starting FW without gsaliasbf.conf

get it blank sceen on client, not going back to login screen

All you have to do is look through the GS.conf to see what terrain's are actually available.
If they're not in the top list that activates them, add them. I find it easier to add them in numerical order.

Fort Siege is a time issue Sh1mmy. Make sure that the server time is in sync with the GMT of wherever the location of the server is.
This is how I fixed mine anyway. You might also have to open it in the gs.conf if you haven't already.
