I've installed the build in accordance with instructions in the 1st post but some problems appeared. I'm using Debian 5.0, arch: amd64. After the 1st run the error occured:
Then I've installed sun-java6-jdk package, copied all jar-files from /root/authd/lib to /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun-1.6.0.22/lib and edited authd-file with new paths. Next errors:

Well I tried the latest Ubuntu 10.10 Server release as you said it should work but it failed to show the realm name.
So far I tried Ubuntu 9.10, 10.04, 10.10. Also other distributions like Fedora.
None of them work..
It's said the realm name only works on Red Hat EL, I tried the vmware release of coolgirl with RHEL 4, and it did work.
But it doesn't really make sense to me, it can't be the *whole* distribution you need for this, and then I wonder if the version would matter.
I also tried other enterprise linux distributions but no success.
And jolan07, you need to edit the paths in your hidden file .bash_profile or .profile that's in your user's home folder too. Or add them if you didn't yet.

no.. i leave all as it is.. i change my router 192.168.200.xxx
so still use all from this config
maybe should change any from it ??
still think of change all 127.0.0.1 into 192.168.200.xxx BU leave 0.0.0.0 as it still is???????

Leave all 127.0.0.1 AS 127.0.0.1. 0.0.0.0 as 0.0.0.0. Change them, and you'll crash the server. Only the 127.0.0.1 in glinkd needs to be edited.
For external connections, the server's port 29000 must be forwarded and have a static IP address. Then that static IP address must replace all 127.0.0.1 IPs in glinkd.
My apologies if this offends you, but if you can't follow this simple guide, you obviously have no Ubuntu experience and shouldn't be attempting to run a JD server. I've given you every command necessary to run the server.

Ubuntu is a Linux distro. You can't run it on Windows, and I would NOT suggest Co-Linux. And I just don't do virtual servers, like vbox or vmware. You need a VPS or dedicated server which is running Ubuntu.
CoolGirl once had a VMWare guide, but this is no longer available. This guide is for a dedicated Ubuntu server.
