propilot's Moderator Application - SA-MP Section

Section that I want to moderate:Grand Theft Auto San Andreas Multiplayer

Why do I want to become a moderator:Well, the section seems inactive, back in the day I made lots of useful posts, and releases to that one section, and I will start doing that again, I will start posting new games modes, new tutorials ( in the up coming days ), as I said before the section is really inactive and I want to make that section alive again, ill try to get friends to help me out with new things to be added to that section.

My experiences with SA-MP:I have been playing SA-MP for about 3 - 4 years, and I am really experienced with it, I believe I would be able to help people when they are in need.


My experiences with Moderating:I am pretty good with moderating forums, I am not a rude member, and I am reasonable, I have been moderating/administrating some of my own forums, and some forums on SA-MP communities.

A point that is always made (including on my own application back when I made it however long ago) is the fact that "fixing" or "adding content" doesn't take a moderators grade. Is it nice when a moderator that knows his /her stuff and maybe even adds content every once in awhile? Yah, I agree that it is better when a Moderator is active in the section they are in, but to bring an inactive section back to an active state can be done by anyone.

All I am saying is that a Moderator's first and foremost priority should be that of keeping a forum clean, and not providing new material, the new material is really up to the members in general.

As for the app, it looks pretty sound in my opinion, you seem like a nice guy, and if given the chance would probably do a decent job. If it were me I would probably add some examples (links?) to your past contributions... any person can simply say they've had good releases in the past, but proof is always nice. Lastly, the section has no current mod, so I guess that is in your favor, but being as inactive as it is on Ragezone, I am betting the moderation is easily done by the Supervisor.
