2. Unzip it
3. Edit Server.Properties (Open in NotePad)
4. Change it
5. Port forward 25565Code:#Minecraft server properties #Wed Oct 13 19:19:03 BST 2010 verify-names=true admin-slot=false port=25565 public=true server-name=NAME HEAR max-players=32 max-connections=32 grow-trees=false motd=Change Me To Anything\!
6. Run Start Server.bat (You May need to run as administrator!)
7. Enjoy
Tips on Server name
Include name with the words:
Big
Minecraft
FREEBUILD
Example
The Big Minecraft Server 28/32 (My Server Name)
FREEBUILD FOR FUN [BIG MAP] 32/32 (A server With Max Users)

and yes.. I do have java..
It's a cannot reconize error or something..
You don't need to configure anything with Hamachi, once you have downloaded Hamachi, started a network etc people can join and connect!
I mean, how to start..

If your hosting a alpha server then i don't think you can have a pre-made url, for classic you can sign up your server on minecraft.net i think, and recieve a url.
what client use?
