This are the Hackshield Files from my Server and Client if it dosent work for you you have a problem with your Computer .I can't run Gpotato Iris, because the Gamecuard give me a Warning that i can not load the client because of other programms are installed like decompiler *grr*

i used all lucky files and also the client patch
with changeable ip,but when i open the iriscleint.exe
it redirects me to internet explorer then hack shield pop up

OH, i forgot i don't use the patch.ini .I have delete the Free.dll in the luky's irisclient.exe

Hey, so I don't really have a clue what I'm doing here, but following the tutorial video exactly. I'm on XP by the way.

I get to the point where I have to create the ODBC drivers:

I open 'ODBC Data Source Administrator', select 'System DSN', then 'Add...', select 'SQL Server', set the name to 'IRIS_GAMEDB' and the server to '*my PC's name*\SQLEXPRESS' then put the Login ID to '175iris' and password to 'zida@()#(zk2', click Next > and get this message:

Microsoft SQL Server Login

Connection failed:
SQLState: '28000'
SQL Server Error: 18452
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Login failed for user '175iris'. The user is not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection.

Like I said, I followed the video precisely so what would cause that? Am I just doing something incredibly noobish or is it something to do with not being administrator or something? How do I fix that been as I cant run as administrator on XP?

Any help is much appreciated.

i used the client patch and editd the patch.ini ip
but i dunno why it wont work

You can't run directly irisclient.exe, you need to run it from shortcut with some value. Just create a shortcut with any value instead of ip, like this: c:\iris\irisclient.exe 123456
