[Guide]Pack/Unpack .pack files

Made this tutorial for people that can't successfully pack and/or repack .pack files.

Required software:

• WinRar (
  You must be registered to see links
  )

Passwords for unpacking:

• #7qlcRkfanwlrodldi#

Unpacking
Install WinRar and open it

Navigate to folder with .pack file(s). In my example I use gPotato client, script folder

Select a .pack file or .pack files that you want to unpack and click on Repair

Select Treat the corrupt archive as ZIP and lick OK

Once it says Done click on Close button

You will have fixed zip archive with rebuilt. in front of its name

Rename repaired archive to .zip if you want to

Then select the repaired archive and click on Extract To

Then change the extract directory if you want to and/or just press OK

You will be asked for a password. Select one from the list above and enter it. Then press OK

Once it's done navigate to folder with extracted files and there you have it.

Sorry to break this to you but me and elshario, or whatever his name is, were working on this when test files were first uploaded to eyes ftp. Unfortunately those files didn't work, but we found a way to unpack archives, etc.

Ya that's what I do, tho some people are too smart to do it :\

ok i found what i missed. compress the whole language/japan folder in the rebuilt.japan folder, not only the files inside, and it work well.

Nice guide, but I think it almost feels overcomplicated, you can just simply open the .pack files in winRAR by double clicking them and selecting winRAR as the application to use, then extract or drop files directly into the .pack, to extract it will prompt for the password but simply paste it in.

hmm i get incorrect password or corrupted file for. effect map monster and npc packs.

edit: some of them worked if i kept trying. LOL weird.

where can i find the pwd in the .exes?? i think it must be definited in somewhere .the problem i meet now is that someone"s servers modify the origin pwd.....
