Your ODBC configuration may be wrong. Check if you named all the System DSN correctly and your databases as well.

everything runs well except the client itself, im getting error that the configuration of the client is invalid and I need to reinstall the whole game to fix the issue (hmm.. Ive got the WinglessIris and the MyIris clients shows the same error).
what should I do?

already fixed the issue, I tried using the NoScrubs client and it worked well ^^

Could be a few things. For starters, you are using windows 8. Have you already tried this on Windows 7, Win2003, Win2008? Did you already set IRIS_LOGDB, IRIS_GAMEDB, IRIS_MEMBERDB in ODBC x86? The programs aren't compatible with the x64 if you are using a x64 OS.

Another problem, when I try and run 03_INSTAL_SERVICE_LS.bat (+all the other instal_service thingys) it just closes itself automatically (And yes, I do run as admin)

add a new line and type PAUSE
save and run it, so the console is not closed and you can read any error msg

That won't do. It's a problem with Windows 7 ignoring the command as admin.

Just run Command Prompt as Administrator, and do it manually.
For example in xteslas his case.. and type

cd C:\Windows\system32

and then

irisLoginServ.exe /install

Or to make it easier, you can always convert the .bat files into .exe files through third party programs. And run as an admin.

And as Chaosfox said, the files need to be inside the Iris map. Or it's bound to keep failing.

never tested iris server on w7, so no idea if "run as admin" works (im running it at my old windows 2008 pc)
