Hello, I just was wondering if it's ok have the server on a vmware image? saw some people doing this and just want to know if the server works just fine.
I want to make my server in my own pc, the only matter is the ram, is 4gb but its can be uploaded to 12gb.

If someone uses this method, please share your experience, pros and con. :laugh:

Yes i made a server in vmware and the database in windows server.I think it's better for security to have them in different places.

Interesting, so for doing it just edit logon.conf and world.conf right? put the lan ip where mysql is installed(native SO).
How many users the server support? and what are server specs?
