Playing with server files

I have been playing with the files, and i edited some XML files to change the names of weapons for example.
But it doesn't seem to show the new name when i spawn the weapon, so how to do it?

By the way, With what program i can open and edit Lua files and others to play with them?

Thanks but why it says it's a virus??

btw some files are buggy, and the program asks if miss them, i do yes, it might make troubles?

edit 2:
this progam is bugged.
the new cpk file is in size less than original and game doesnt even start -.-
what to do?

edit3:
something is just wrong on this program, i the current CPK file of the game that works which is 1.3gb, i make it into a data folder, than transfer back to CPK, it should be again 1.3b but its 1.1g wtf
and ofcourse game doesnt even start up....
Any other program suggestions?
