Btw anyone knows is there any advantage for chinese client than english gamigo client with exception for quests? Is lvl cap and skills all the same? Because i saw that gamigo have Dragon blood skills also..

lvl could be set up in config file of world.
Skills just attdata,nothing else

Hello,
I am legendary1312 I used to hang around these parts of the forum. Generaly because i loved Loong but hated their current develepors.
So i played around with naty's version. (older version)
but now since there are new files i am intrested again, I am a real newbie on this kind of area and probably coding too.
So I got a few questions about all of this, and about private servers in general.


first a few general questions:
- Is there a difference between source-code and server-files(what we got here)
- If i would to open and open server how srewed can i be if gamigo follows me.
- I saw a few posts in this thread about buying the source code or something, whats up with this. will it then be legal to host? and how much would it cost.

now about these files.
I am downloading it all as i type, so.

- I downloaded naty's version in the past, but that turned out not to great because allot was bugged.
Do these files have the same problem?
- How much would i be able to edit these files( in naty's i just did stats etc, is more possible here?).

Put on your client lancher.ini
run you client you get 1 update 9.0.0.0 to 9.0.1.1

Explain in detail how can I do this?
This procedure need a web server, as I understand it?

I managed to upgrade to version 9011. But now when entering the game says ""Version is outdated. Update the client." Сlient closes - launcher is started, said that all updates - launches the client. I enter the password, says again "version is outdated, update the client". How do I fix this?

i think i have do a mistake the patch 9011.cpk are named 9001.cpk see if you have same problem

I and have thought it mistake. 9001.cpk file renamed the 9011.cpk. And in the file patchinfo.txt in line "url = http://127.0.0.1/9011.cpk" also made ​​the change

Client just close and nothing on the log client/server.

WHen updating did you change the "patchinfo.txt" file that says

hello all.
Im new in this game and wanted to make a "offline" (localhost) game to pass time.
so far so good, mysql working, update works 100%, running files on w2008r2.
only "small" problem i got so far, is loongworld always says invalid config and stops working
only thing i do is put my root password on the files asking for it.

Yeah, as long as url = points to the right place, and the from and to are correct.
however, you may want to change your file name to just 9011.cpk
