Hello guys,

I would like to introduce you to KryptoDiamondMS, the first(*) real MapleStory Korea Private Server. This source was supposed to be a repack/modification of vClarity, but as Visual Basic is a bid though to code fast with, I chose C# once again.

Most of the code is from scratch or is used off Vana/WvsBeta/vClarity.

To give an idea how far the development is at the moment, take a look:

Updates:
- Updated to V.124

Currently, the code is only being developed by me and is closed-source for the moment.

For those who want to try to make a KMS server too: good luck, the KMS encryption is different, packets are WAY different, and getting the client (2GB) from the KMS download servers is a pain in the neck (yay 2 KB/s max without flashget).

This thread is just for notifying you guys that everything is possible, even when we thought it wasn't.


(*): As far as I know there hasn't been a KMS private server.

If you provide instructions on how to get to the download section on http://maplestory.nexon.com/ i can download the file at 2kb/s like you said above then upload the files to http://gmsdl.com/

Alternatively, i can create an FTP account which i can allow people to upload files under certain guidelines.

(The 2nd option sounds more ideal, as the 2kb/s download might take a long time)

I think you downloaded Global, because if you were downloading from KoreaMS you would have 10%.

Their link is NOT maplestory.nexon.net, that is GMS, not KMS.

There is Korean MapleStory Private Server out there what they called "Pre-MapleStory" other then calling MapleStory Private Server. In other word "프리메이플스토리" (프메).
Im pretty sure they havent got to v.122 pretty much most of those korean MapleStory developers are being lazy.
