What is This?
MapleVer Checker is a program that calculates the checksums of your .wz and MapleStory.exe files and compares them to a database. That way you can see what version they are, and if they are corrupted.

The Database:
The database is not very large yet. It only recognizes 0.93, 0.90, 0.88, 0.87, 0.83, 0.62 and 0.55. If you have another maple version, please open it, get checksums, then press Extra > Dump Checksums. It will then create a file named dump.txt. Could you post that here?

Q: How do i get my hands on 1.2?
A: Extra > Version Info and Updates > Update

Q: It says I need MapleVerUpdater.exe
A: Download v.1.1

Q: It says my file is "Unknown", but im sure its a clean file of version #
A: Do a dump and upload it here

Q: How do i do a dump?
A: Go to the toilet.

Q: No really! How do i do a dump?
A: Read the "The Database" section above.

I wonder if it would be possible to use this to prohibit wz edits on servers? The person who makes a method to do it quickly would get quite a praise.

Please, tell me how u got errors.
I havent bug tested yet so i need to set up the error handlers.

He means this will help him from getting errors in the future, not that your program has errors.

Sorry I am not 100% sure that I grap the concept of this. This just checks to show you what files arent correct in te wz folder like lets say I dled maple and it wasnt woring I could use this to see what files are lacking data? o-o Im just tryin to figur out the se of this.

It's absolutly possible but would require a custom maplestory.exe or some serversided application that recieved info from this program on what ips to block.

Theres a million different way of getting checksums and i use one of them.
I'm using a custom asm read thats just as good as any other checksum checker.

It will get the checksums, but won't regognize the files.
I have been thinking of adding support for eMS and SEA, but it'll be a while till :/:

I've done it, or rather a GM on my server did it back in the day. Even though it wasn't that slow (like 3-4 sec of wait to check all wz files), it wasn't worth it and we took it out.
