Perfect World 136 on Ubuntu 8.04 Server VMware Image by Beastie ^^

I use this files with vmware, I can start the Server but i can

in the directory /etc/udev/rules.d/ there is a file called 70-persistent-net.rules

edit the file so it changes from this..

then reboot the image..

Do a fresh install of a linux OS (recommand Ubuntu) in your favorite "Virtual Machine Manager"...
Use the server files of beastie Click here!

And... use a bit of brain and search tool for the next time plz! :glare:

thanks guys this is the first time ive gotten a pw server to work....YAY.. but i just wanted to know afew things:

1st - how could i get the iweb to work ?

2nd - other than iweb, how can i spawn items/eq and increase char lvls?

3rd - i have both wow and l2 servers and they both have alot more gm abilities/gm commands is CTRL + g all of the avaliable gm commands ?

4th - when i use batgm i dont get any cubi >> :*:

p.s beastie using batgm i can see u have a char on the server, does it have any gm eq i can give to my char ?

I just wanted to say thanks for the help wiht the server files and setup. only took 3 hours. I had ben working on colinix for 3 weeks and still didnt get it to work you all are great now to get the client working

iweb as fare as i can see right now is still not working use the new npc is the only whay i know of now just got this server up to day trying some fixs right now.

Beastie...did you get iweb to work yet on the img i would install the game on a linux box and use you fix but cant get the game to run only can get the img to run.

Use the Jakarta Tomcat 5.5.9 folder from the Sofag's Content ! It's the only iweb working i have found on this forum.....

This server changes IP and the change and Ver of the password and works.

With The Client error goes out when the character is selected and the START button is pushed.

hi maybe it has been answert but i dont have see it

the server image is running no error or so all configs make like yours with the eth iweb i dont have change anything
but i cant connect to the register page or phpmyadmin or anything else
from local windows not outside or so
in windowns vmnet1 and 8 looks like this ips

1 = 192.168.85.1
8 = edit by me 192.168.0.51

is 1 the virtuel router ?
and 8 the ip from virtuel pc ?

the old ip from 8 was 192.168.75.1

To make this available to people outside of your local area network, do you have to port forward 29000 to 192.168.0.51?

Or am I missing something?
