reboot your server and your done with that.

The only thing you need now, is to open the port 80 for your serverip (hrace009 release=192.168.0.10)

If you have followed all that you have now a public server !!!

Attention: You can't test if your server is availible at that Host name, because it is your public ip.

i finish this,, but i just can open the why i can't open the ,,, what after i finish instal no-ip i start the ./tomcat_start.sh :?::?:

Its funny to see how people install the DUC on virtual machines :D:

Just for the lazy ones, the simple way is to install it on the host system then its just a routing thing to get your vBox or whatever online. ( tcp port 29000 to your vBox ip and its online )
Or ( if you have a hardware router ) check your manual. Most of them have support for dyndns and no-ip config.

You don't even need to install it all do you? All the software does is tells their server were to redirect to. Cant you just change the redirection to your ip of your router on their site then forward the ports to your server?

You are most likely correct Drakaer!

Honestly I think it's because people are lazy and or ignorant. The service I use (like no-ip. but a different one) I don't have any software installed. I log into my account with the provider and make sure to update my WAN IP when/if it changes...
