    So yeah me and Luxray have been chatting. Both been really busy.

    I've decided to rewrite the client and also start on a server. Splitting different parts of the project over different repositories.



    I've set up a basic TCP Server but it doesn't do much as of now. Mostly been working on the client.

    I've spent some time on fixing the whole kanto worldmap. There is one on the internet but there are a couple pixel issues resulting in a map that cannot be parsed. I've fixed that up and am now looking to fill in the voids aswell. If anyone wants to help feel free to shoot me a message and I will send you the worldmap.



    I am now able to parse this whole worldmap with a given tilesheet into chunks. The client is able to load these chunks as you walk around:


    Recording has some issues. Not exactly sure why but it doesn't look things drawn over eachother.

    I have also ripped all routes from the RSE aswell as all caves, interiors and other parts of both FR/LG and RSE.

    Started slowly picking this up again. Hopefully this time I got more motivation to implement some more features.

    I made a really simple login form using the tgui library for UI drawing:



    I have decided to go with a 64x64 tile sized chunk system.



    There hasn't been much changed since I last touched it but I am going to extend it further.

    If there is someone that has experience / knowledge about how the regular game handles multiple layers of drawing let me know. I have been thinking about this for now.

    Base (like sea, grass tile)
    Background (paths, trees etc)
    Player Layer
    Foreground (Stuff infront of the player)
