WZ npcs after new map.wz

I made a new map.wz and removed the npc from the xml but theyre still floating in mid air from their original location? There is no table in the database with npcs and no reference in the source so what could it be? Thanks?

You have to delete them from the map in Map.wz then dump the XMLs and restart the server.

Thank you, so much for your response! I've literally been doing this for the last few days and I forgot the most important part... "Restart the server." I will now wander off and hide in shame.
