I don't think List.wz can crash you like that after you already got in game and can see mobs, also you never need to update your List.wz when WZ editing honestly. Did you WZ edit a new mob?
Possible issues, you didn't save your Mob.wz in the new encryption, you messed up the memory addresses in the client, one of your packets in the source is sending an invalid WZ path of an element, you WZ editted something incorrectly, or your WZ repacker doesn't save your WZ properly and is corrupting it.
