Having the same issue. Using MSSQL 2012. Shouldn't be a problem at all.
Tried this solutions:
ADDR = <PCNAME>\<MSSQLNAME>,1433
NAME = <DataBase_Name>
ID = sa
PW = <password>
------------------------------------------
ADDR = 127.0.0.1,1433
NAME = <DataBase_Name>
ID = sa
PW = <password>
------------------------------------------
ADDR = 127.0.0.1 //without port.
NAME = <DataBase_Name>
ID = sa
PW = <password>
None of this steps worked for me! Neither with local IP 127.0.0.1, nor the router IP 192.X.X.X, neither the dynamical IP (non-local).
I am kinda pissed off of the lack of information about how to fix this issue.
Edit: Found the fix.
Code:ADDR = <PCNAME>\<MSSQLNAME> //WITHOUT PORT ",1433" behind it! NAME = <DataBase_Name> ID = sa PW = <password>
I already tried that and it does not work.
