Hi, i have posted it in another forum and i think : " why dont show it here two ? i care about what you think about priston" .

ok, so , i make my new system, who is in Beta test, right now!
this system just show to EVERYONE :
if someone :
Block an attack,
defence an attack,
evande an attack,
or... show the damage.
And, if you MISS, some attack =D

If anybody wants to make something like it, or study it, the packet responsible for handling an attack is 0x50322000. everytime you attack a player/mob/select an npc this packet is sent to the server.

offset 4: opcode
offset 8: checksum
offset 8 + 4: from CharName ID
offset 8 + 8: target CharName ID

Thanks Sheen, :) but it's the rendering over players / monsters heads which intrigues me more. The game usually applies Block, Dodge, Miss etc. on your own HUD, but that's a static overlay at the bottom of the screen. Attaching those to the 3D world is quite exciting. :)

Interesting, none the less. I'm sure there are other places you could patch in to the chain of events. :)
