Still i can't connect to my server :(

I setup my server in vmware yet i can't connect to my main pc and play the game. i change all the ip of my cfg in vmware's ip and the client param to vmware's ip and still can't connect, some guide needs to port forwading etc. but i don't know how i follow some guides but it's still the same problem. I don't know if the ip i inserted is right. any possible solutions to fix this TIA :D

Okay sorry for that . all i want is to show my server status with my server files and waiting for a member to check if there are some errors regarding with my setup. anwy thanks :)

What they meant is to make sure your local machine can CONNECT to your virtual machine. From your local machine try to ping your virtual machine, if it says something like "request time-out" then they are not connected. Read your VMWare documentation on "how to network virtual machines to your local machine".

Port-forwarding or Hamachi isn't really necessary. You'll only need it IF you're hosting any service to the internet over a broadband connection. If you're only playing your server on your machine or to your LAN then you don't need it.

i agree with you. main problem is the connection between virtual machine and the main computer.
