Map restrictions

Hello all,

I am writing this thread because I was unable to find anything related to my question as I was not able to figure out how to really format it in the search as an actual "question".

My question is this, how do I change map restrictions so that you, as a GM, an as a summoned player, move in all the upcoming areas? This is what I am talking about, for reference:

(Images are too big for the thread, please click the links. Thank you.)

I am asking because I was thinking of adding a few things to the main map instead of having to add 400,000,000 custom maps (over-exaggerating there.. lol). Which would most likely, I hope, reduce the RAM load on the server as it is the main map itself, and not a separate instance.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, or maybe a link to a guide that I've overlooked.

Thank you all and have a nice Sunday or Monday, if so, have a nice week as well!

There is no difference, the way to find it is still very much the same, and no other locations have opened to my knowlege

I gave up on the idea, seeing as I have no idea how to open the areas I've found on the map.

Thank you anyway.

Open up a hex editor and search for that exact bytes. There is only one block of hex in the whole elementclient which has that pattern. Change them all to 1's instead of 00 00 00 00 00 so the whole thing looks like 11 11 11 11 11 11 11 etc

Each open section should be 00 00 00 01, not 11 11 11 11
No adverse effects happen if you set it to 11 11 11 11 over 00 00 00 01. I'd have to look at source code for that part of elementclient to determine why it doesn't matter + what extra things get movement restriction removed if you do it.

But what I can assume is you guys are assuming this Zone-Array is on a per giant section basis (from looking at that tool) where as I think each byte is a MAP SEGMENT (Grid Segment Square) because if you count the number of segments of GS01 it directly matches up with how many 2 byte 'slots' there are in this array + Every other map related thing as far as .BMD placements and everything else is also on a per-segment basis.
