thats cool the server can go up to 32gb ram but what do you think about the rest of the hardware?
also has 2 72gb scsi's 10k speed

I also have a dl380 G3 with 6gb ram and 6 72gb scsi's

thats a legend. many times im successfully started and runned w/o any problem 40+ maps with 4gb physical ram + swap

That's a gen 2, it'll work just fine. I've ran PW servers on even G1 DL580's and DL585's

It's kinda nice because those are older servers so they can be had really cheap!

But again, to answer you question, yes, it'll run PW. I don't remember what ram the G2 uses but if I'm not mistaken those older machines are still on plain DDR (not DDR2 and especially not DDR3), so you're gonna wanna max it out on it's capability of RAM
