edit the batch file and put pause at the end on a new line then run the file again. It should tell you what the error is and why its not running.
I think tekks editors use java so you may be missing that.

reboot after installing java to get the environment variables properly set, specify the path to java by hand, or just don't use pirated windows.

Re: gshop editor by tekk
If you're running Win7 press the WINDOWS KEY + PAUSE/BREAK
then select "Advanced System Settings" along the left side of the window/panel
Then on the ADVANCED TAB in the system properties dialog is the "Environment Variables"

never had to do this though... it should work on the fly with the oracle java installer. I really have no idea how ppl manage it to mess that up.

you could also path java in the bat file.
for example: "c:\program files (x86)\<rest of path>\java.exe"

I've had issues with 64bit PCs, that's why I just edit bat files for it

Re: gshop editor by tekk
Setting the enviroment variable is the better way (seeimng the long term use) than editing every java starting bat file by hand
