I don't think it works for me. I tried going in through vboxtools but it didn't work out. However I previously set up the "Host Interface" network configuration and I think that conflicted with vboxtools. I'm redoing it on a system that's not through a router and it will probably work millions of times easier.

(VBoxtools handles port forwarding where (http://external-ip:port)

In sun virtual box after you make a VHD and click the VHD and go to system to the right and click the possessors tab, and check the box that Enable PAE/NX .
and you can download a ubuntu version with the correct kernel for the VM at virtual box website I think.
On another note you can make this VHD 30 gigs and devote a 20 gig partition to be a swap file as the virtual hard drive expands as its used and doesn't take up but what space its using. Mine is 2.4gigs when not in use with this config. 20Gigs is obsessive but at least you know it wont ever run out of swap. This is a super easy to install release .


Hey Romulan can you give me "gShopEdit 2.0 by robrave" Im testing many of them to find lots corrupt the gshop.data if to many changes b4 save. Ive searched much and cant find download for this editor.I C U post this pic and want to try this one out.

I set up a pwserver on:
- VMware. But i have fastly changed for the sunbox software...
- Sun Virtual Box with two network card. One for a private network only with my computer and a second one for local network...
- A real server with Debian 5 Etch and Ubuntu 8.04 Server
- And a second real server with Ubuntu 8.10 Server....

All is possible with the linux world ! lol

If you have some good knowledge now, try to make a tutorial for Sunbox with my server files... it will help other ppl that they want to do a localserver ^^

Install guide sun Virtual Box written by a noob for noobs

1.download & install sun virtual Box if not done already. Then reboot your machine cuz virtual box installs drivers for your networking that require a reboot to take in effect even though it doesn't ask you to.

2.make a virtual hard drive/new machine for linux/ubuntu.give it 1500Mb of ram & 30gigs of virtual hard drive space (when all done it will only take up 2.54 gigs on your hard drive)

3.click on your new virtual machine and to the right you see its options. go to the "system" setting and check the box "Enable PAE/NX" then go to networking and make Adapter 1 enabled/Bridged Adapter . then pick your network adapter out of the list. maybe you got more than 1 I do.

4.download Ubuntu 8.04 hardy heron (lts)

5.start new Virtual Machine and on the Machines window click Device CD/DVDmount and add your ubuntu.iso. now restart the VM. start installing.

6.when you get to user/passwords make all user names pwserver and all passwords root.

7.There will be an option to manually partition it. do this and make 10gig partition with bootable flag on it. then make a 20 gig partition as swap file.

8.At the end of the install there will be an option to install some other software install SSH. and continue.

ALL DONE INSTALLING UBUNTU REBOOT IT AND START INSTALLING PWServer

1. Logg into your new install and typ:

ifconfig

the first ip you need to write down or something cuz it goes in all your server config files.

2. longest step: go through all the server files and change all ip's except the 0.0.0.0 once. try right clicking the folders in romulens pack and search ".conf" that will speed this up.

Special config files you may not find:
.../usr/local/jakarta-tomcat-5.5.9/webapps/loginlistMGT.txt
This is your IWEB usrname/paswrd .

.../etc/tables.xml
usrnames/paswrds/ip

<connection name="auth0" password="root" poolsize="3" url="jdbc:mysql://YOUR SERVERS IP/dbo?useUnicode=true&amp;characterEncoding=utf8" username="root"/>

and fix this line...

find the line where is /usr/local/apache-tomcat-5.5.9/bin

and change to

/usr/local/jakarta-tomcat-5.5.9/bin

3. get winscp to install with the usr "ip is your servers ip"
same usr/paswrd you login with.

/usr/local/apache-tomcat-5.5.9/bin

for setting up a new password to "root".
(the system will prompt you to put your actual password and after it you can type the root password and confirm)

Thnx dog i will try it out. and what page i just trying to help out RagingINtheZONE. no page. i will try to add a gshop.data that people can read though. this is a real nice release. it could be molded to a nice custom server with some effort.

Hmmm... try to find the Tasks Editor (translated by Talolan), open your tasks.data server file and search after the banker quest...

You will see that the fury option has been inversed with the storage option... you just need to set the fury option at 0 and copy/past the amount of fury in storage option. (ie: 64fury -> 0fury -> 64storage)

Save your file, upload it and test it !

When you have set the pet cage value at 9, did you have apply changes ( [App.] button ) and save the file?
