first web design

My first ever web design, i made it for my server and wanted some feedback on it.

Text is quite hard to read, multiple random boxes, that weird line that connects to the ``Start playing`` button.

But not really bad for a first try.

I find the text incredibly hard to read.
You need to define the text from the background better. Outlining the text usually sorts this problem, and is rather simple too, try that out.

The site is kinda messy in overall, you should try to make fonts readable, because it's really hard to read anything from that site and you should change that login too, it's incredibly hard to read your username from that base.

But it would be decent for a first web design if those texts would be readable.

Me thinking: 'Is this design from a guy who does photoshop for over a year and is experienced but making his first site design'

Or: With not much experience.

The navigationbar is very mess. The start playing button just doesnt look nice.... And the kind of rusty metal pattern you used could use some lower opacity. Might look up some tuts.

Navigation bars look better if all of the text looks the same and is the same font size. You need to work on your text a bit.

Overall, it could use a lot of work. But it's not bad for a first. You should have seen my first layout... You'd be laughing your butt off at me.

neh, i wouldnt laugh. first tries never go well. i for example looked at sites and homepages, so it improved my first site a bit. i didnt know where to begin before that.

Sorry but it blows.

The text is hard to read; remove those gradients from the text.

also, good luck coding that into something usable, accessible and SEOable.

ive seen much more complicated websites being coded to some pretty good homepages. we already started coding it and it goes very well, yea it might blow, but atleast we're not going to use wix or wordpress[not that wordpress is bad, just pretty much uncreative] like any of our competition[90% of them]. and it looks pretty darn good compared to their's.[and again, most of them]. and im not just saying it cus its my creation, ik its not that good and not even close to being a pro homepage.
P.S fixed the text.
