I'm interested in how you made those menu bars.
Did you use a tutorial? Can you point me in the direction of a tutorial that teaches this?
They both look nice, but the top one is more to my liking.

Make the "Shadow Inside" with 8-12 Size and "Overlay" it, next make an new layer, click CTRL+Menu Layer and in "Edit" choose the "Stroke", make new layer and put there "Stroke Inside" 1px, now Screen/SoftLight it. You'll have a nice border for both exemples. If you want to make it better - soft some the layer opacity for the darker parts.
