[Movie] Ted or The Amazing Spiderman

I'm going to the movies next week with my friends for the holidays...
I'm deciding which movie to go for...you guys probably have watched both or one of the other, so please give me your input and which one is worth watching

I love both movies, preferrable Spiderman for me but there are also some girls as well so I don't mind either.

What do you think?

I'm not a super fan of the new Spiderman movie (The chick is ugly, it bothers me), but I have a friend who worked on some of the graphics in it, and its his first movie with his name in the credits, so we are going to support him.

I was pretty disappointed Ted was a chick flick disguised with adult humor. Sappy movies FTL.

Just seen Spiderman 3D, It's truly is AMAZING ! The story is fantastic, can't wait for Part 2 !!

Haven't seen spiderman, Saw Ted though. You can Seth McFarland is all over that movie because it's soaked with his style.
Most of the main characters are voices on Family Guy, the sick ass fight with Ted, is like a Live Action version of the chicken vs Peter fights. Still funny as hell, but waaay to much like Family Guy.

Why are so many films having 2 parts to them?

It allows for things in the movie that weren't touched to be addressed more in-depth. Also to build up suspense and knowing how to market the movie properly.
