its an awesome series best way to describe it would be:
s1 is your regular zombie-apocalypse
s2 is the things that should be in there ... character development and the social aspect of it
s3 could be about the civil war or

... at least a gang war as seen in the final episode of S2

what i doubt happening in S3:

hunt for the cure:
a) non of them have a science background and wouldn't really fit into the dynamic of the show
b) as seen in the last 2 episodes of season 1 the only facility which dealt with the virus was in atlanta and thats kinda blown to bits ^^
addendum: it has been mentioned that there are/were french scientists being close to a cure but w/o any ways of communicating with them or any one else for that matter i doubt and hope the writters keep leaving the subject alone for the time being as it makes for an awesome series finale

A gang war is totally possible though. Given what took place last season, fuck. It could be an all out gang war. People in their world have really gone to shit. I remember the guy they captured mentioning that the people he was with raped 2 girls in front of their father. Which sets an obvious violent tone to this other enigmatic mystery group we don't know a lot about yet. But something tells me we will encounter them again in this show. But the person vs person aspect of the show is just as important as person vs zombie. People are far more dangerous. :p

As for a cure, I don't think they'll be following any cures anytime soon. But I do suspect this show will last quite a long time lol.

i just realized something: do any of you remember the black guy and his son from season 1 the sheriff tried to hail them when ever he could they kinda dropped that though maybe he was just an element to get him up to speed on things or he will return ... lets hope he returns i like that dude in jericho

Well, I think they know we are asking questions like this. Well I mean, obviously they know, they wrote the story. But, all in all they know that we are wondering if he will Return. He was a pretty cool character, the very first Rick encounters. I am hoping sometime in S3 where I am guessing they will encounter A LOT of people, both good and bad... somewhere in the chaos, he will show up. If not S3.... S4 at least! Lol.
