Forsaken World Server (VBOX Image + Patched Game)

Someone can help. Explain what files need copy from this VBOX image to install it on another computer? I know its server folder, and some kind another files but what? Thank you.

Where can I edit the IP for both server and client because my ip is not 192.168.1.105, it ends on .101

Found out client edit, where do I edit server IP? Because I am unable to connect, ipconfig (cmd) says 192.168.56.1 as vBox IP, and regular ip4adress is 192.168.0.102.. so I need to edit to one of those, not 192.168.0.101.. Where can I edit this please? ^^

If u downloaded Vbox version 2 just open it, and it will import everything by self ^^
But if u downloaded first version, just open forsaken world.vdi ...

wth, why should u change vbox and game ip ?
on your computer, go to network connections, find vbox lan interface, and change it to 192.168.1.x
on my example is 192.168.1.55

and u can connect to vbox server without any problems

eh.. as i said , just change ip address from your control panel / vbox lan card -.-
no need to change any other ip addresses ..
but, if u wish ..

No matter what I do I always get Unable to Connect, I edit the vbox lancard to 192.168.1.101, and the client to that IP, and it says Unable to connect, even when I downloaded it all it started fine but I was unable to connect....

Tell me what I need to do, I used default settings, was unable to connect.. if I set IP on vBox LAN Card, it will be the same IP needed to connect with the client, right?

vbox server is .101 u need to select diffrent ip for host, leave game ip default.

Hmm, I got the IP4Adress at 192.168.1.101, the subnet is 255.255.0.0 and the default gateway is 192.168.1.55, is the right? And the game client IP would be 192.168.1.55? Not sure what the default was, been trying to get this to work for the past 2 days now.

Ok, game ip, that does not exist, it only points to server ip address, and it is 192.168.1.101

if u fcked it up, here is server.lua file:

replace ur modified file with this one, and don't touch it anymore lol :D

to next part :
did u modified anything in server? (virtual box image)?
if yes, restore everything to default.

next, go to your control panel, network interface and find vbox lan card, and put ip address 192.168.1.55, subnet 255.255.255.0 , gateway is empty.

and it should work instant, start cmd from windows and ping 192.168.1.101 :)

u could not connect from start because your computer vbox LAN CARD had incorrect IP, not in range 192.168.1.X ... just don't put 192.168.1.101 because it's ip from server, put on example 192.168.1.55

Thanks mate, I just did as you said - I used default, re-did the image (everything default), vbox lan card is 192.168.1.55, subnet 255.255.255.0, gateway empty, client is 192.168.1.101, but it still says Unable to Connect when I try to login in game.

Edit; do you have teamviewer? maybe you can look at it, because i'm doing everything as you explained but it's just not working.

did u start server ? with ./start command ? - it takes with 2Gb vbox ram to start cca 3-5mins ...
does your vbox config have more then 2Gb ram? (if less server will not start and u can't connect) ..
can u ping server from windows?

Yes I did start the server. my vBox config file has 2001 MB RAM. and yep, i can ping the server just fine.

to many files to write here, it's better u download extracted files, not in some image ...
